Scottish barony on the block —

Our correspondents in Scotland report that the title Baron of Braemar will be sold for the first time in over 200 years. Being a particularly prestigious title since it is connected to the Crown, some think the title could sell for more than £1mn. The title does not confer lands, although a small parcel with a cottage overlooking Braemar could be included with the sale, according to agents Scottish Barony Titles. Get your money together, hire a solicitor specialising in barony title law, and you're all set.

This is very odd.

(And I still am not sure what I think about the BBC reporting on the 30-year anniversary of D&D.)
